This Privacy Policy is effective from the 25th May 2018 and sets out your rights under the new laws.

Radstock & District Billiards & Snooker League have the responsibility to protect and respect your privacy and look after your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use your personal data, and how we store your personal data securely.

Data protection laws state that we can only process personal data if we have a valid reason to do so. The reasons we process your personal data include, but are not limited to, your consent, registration for Clubs and Snooker/Billiards Teams, contact information for cup competitions etc., for Billing purposes and to contact you with related matters.

3. How Do We Collect Personal Data from You?

We receive information about you when you register for a Club / Snooker / Billiards Team, register for Cup Competitions and Membership Renewals. We never collect any Financial Data from you. The information we collect includes, but is not limited to:

3.2 Home & Mobile Telephone Numbers
3.3 Address Details
3.4 Date of Birth (where relevant for age restricted competitions)
3.5 EMail Addresses

4. How Do We Use Your Data?

We use your personal information in the following ways:

4.1 To register you for Snooker / Billiards Teams
4.2 To register you for Snooker / Billiards Competitions
4.3 To provide billing for Registration, Cup entries etc.
4.4 To contact you when applicable with information relating to the Radstock & District Billiards & Snooker League
4.5 To provide contact numbers for other members to contact you for organisation of cup matches

5. Retention Periods

We will keep your personal data until you ask for it to be deleted.

Who Has Access to Your Personal Data?

Your personal data is only used by the Commitee and Members of the Radstock & District Billiards & Snooker League.

7. Your Rights

In preventing the use or processing of your personal data, it may delay or prevent us from accepting your Registration for Snooker / Billiards Teams and Cup Competitions and other related information. You have the right to object to our use of your personal data, or ask us to delete, remove or stop using your data if there is no need for us to keep it. This is known as your right to be forgotten. There are membership reasons why we will need to keep your data, but please do inform us if you think we are retaining or using your personal data incorrectly. You can view, edit or delete your personal data by requesting this from the Commitee.

8. Accessing and Updating Your Data

You have the right to access the information we hold about you. Please email your requests to the League Secretary or Match Secretary so that we can obtain this information for you.

9. Where We Store your Personal Data

All information your provide to us is stored on secured computers, held by the Committee Members of the Radstock & District Billiards & Snooker League, within the UK. We also back-up your data to a secure League Management platform. By providing your data to us, you agree to these storage conditions. The storage of your data is protected by passwords.
